Record greetings during quiet times Background noise degrades greeting quality. Record in a quiet space with a good microphone.
Create multiple greetings for different scenarios Record separate greetings for business hours, after hours, vacations, and holidays. Switch between them as needed.
Listen to voicemail transcriptions first Review transcription before listening to save time. Only play audio if transcription is unclear.
Set up email notifications Never miss important voicemails by enabling email notifications. The direct link takes you straight to the message.
Update your greeting regularly Change your greeting to reflect current availability, especially before vacations or extended absences.
Keep your PIN secure Don't share your voicemail PIN. It protects access to your messages from desk phones and other devices.
