Understanding Your Call History

Your call history shows all inbound and outbound calls made through Zoom Phone, including answered calls, missed calls, voicemails, and declined calls. Call history is accessible through the Zoom desktop app, mobile app, or Zoom Web App .

What's included:

  • Caller name and phone number

  • Call direction (inbound/outbound)

  • Date and time

  • Call duration

  • Call status (answered, missed, declined, voicemail)


Viewing Call History

Desktop App

Open the Phone Tab

  • Launch Zoom desktop app

  • Click Phone in the left sidebar

  • Click the History tab at the top

  • View your complete call log

Identifying Missed Calls

Missed calls display with a distinct icon and notification to help you identify which calls require follow-up .

How to spot missed calls:

  • Red icon or badge next to the call entry

  • "Missed Call" label in the call list

  • Push notification on mobile devices

  • Desktop notification if enabled

  • Badge count on the Phone tab

Quick actions for missed calls:

  • Tap/click the phone number to call back immediately

  • View caller details before returning the call

  • Check if they left a voicemail


Filtering & Searching Call History

Filter by call type:

  • All calls

  • Missed calls only

  • Voicemails

  • Inbound calls

  • Outbound calls

Search functionality:

  • Type a name or number in the search bar

  • Results filter instantly

  • Find specific calls quickly

Date range:

  • View calls from today, yesterday, last 7 days, or custom range

Taking Action on Call History

Return a call:

  • Click/tap the phone icon next to any entry

  • Call connects using your Zoom Phone line

View call details:

  • Click/tap the entry to expand

  • See full caller information

  • Review call duration and time

Access related voicemail:

  • If the caller left a message, you'll see a voicemail icon

  • Tap to listen directly from the call history entry

Add to contacts:

  • Click/tap on the caller's number

  • Select "Add to Contacts"

  • Save for future reference
